Clear
Gutters, outlets and hoppers emptied by hand or vacuum. Debris bagged and taken away.
Vacuum and hand-clearance of blocked gutters and downpipes across Mayo, with a camera check on the roofline so you see exactly what came out — Atlantic gales pack a gutter with leaf litter and moss run-off in a single autumn.
With the volumes of water coming off a roof in this county, there is very little margin in a gutter run. A blockage that might go unnoticed for a year somewhere drier will have water pouring over the edge within weeks here — and on exposed sites the wind carries it straight onto the wall instead of letting it drop away from the building.
We clear gutters across the county — Castlebar, Westport, Ballina, Claremorris, Swinford, Ballyhaunis, Knock and Foxford — and flush the run afterwards so you know it actually drains, not just that it looks clear from the ground.
Quoted as a fixed price before booking. No hidden extras, no day-rate creep.
A blocked gutter is a slow, expensive problem. Water backs over the edge, tracks down the render, saturates the fascia and sits against the foundation. By the time staining shows on the wall the damage has usually been running for a season or more. Clearing is the cheap part; catching a dropped bracket or a failed joint while we are up there is the valuable part.
