Why it's done this way
A blocked gutter is a slow, expensive problem. Water backs over the edge, tracks down the render, saturates the fascia and sits against the foundation. By the time staining shows on the wall the damage has usually been running for a season or more. Clearing is the cheap part; catching a dropped bracket or a failed joint while we are up there is the valuable part.

Downpipes flushed through so we know the run drains to the gully.

Joints, brackets, falls and fascia inspected. Anything failing is photographed and reported.

How often should gutters be cleared?
Once a year for most properties. Under trees, twice — autumn and late spring.
Do you work from a ladder or a pole?
Whichever is safer for the property. Vacuum poles for most two-storey runs, ladders where access allows and the work needs hands on.
Will you tell me if something is broken?
Yes. Failed joints, dropped brackets and rotting fascia are photographed and reported with the completion note.
Do you take the debris away?
Yes. It is bagged and removed, not dropped into the flowerbeds.
